Road Building in the Little North Fork of the Clearwater
This section has been logged all the way down to the top soil. Each checkerboard section covers about one square mile A clearcut section with selective cutting on adjacent sections. Guess which sections are owned by Plumb Creek Timber? This is an area with a lots of adjoining sections of state, private, Forest Service and BLM Lands. What a mess. Think they can fit another road in here? Managed, but by competing interests. I like the bottom left hand square.
